I installed the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD program on my Vista 64 bit PC (6 GB memory & 500 GB hard drive) & the installation appeared to occur without problems. The driver device software was successfully installed, the setup wizard completed successfully, I restarted the computer for the configuration changes to take effect, registered the product properly and clicked on the e-mail link to complete the registration, and finally downloaded and installed SP2 which updated the program to Version 1.1.124 SP2.
Problem: when I open the program, a series of popup windows occurs first (Windows Installer Preparing to Install + Please Wait While Windows Configures Roxio Eash VHS to DVD). Once those windows finish, the main program window opens but, within 10-30 seconds, my computer automatically shuts down and reboots whether I click on any function of the program or not. My computer works fine otherwise. Only when I open this Roxio program does this automatic shutdown & reboot occur. Someone out there - PLEASE HELP!
