Looking for ideas to fix bad audio

Sandy Wood

Question

I'm capturing great video from my old VHS tapes but on some tapes the audio is fairly tinny and thin. It gets so annoying that I can't bear to watch. I realize the root cause is probably the individual tapes themselves. I wonder if anyone has dealt with this and if so, have they been able to make any improvments at all?

In the full Creator 2009 or 2010 versions, yes you would have a pretty good selection of tools.

Sadly these are not found on the V2D version…

IF you have another Audio Editor you do have the option to Extract Audio.

You could play with that file then add it back into you VideoWave Project on any of the audio tracks and mute the Native audio track.
