Overlay Video is Blurry

Question

In Videowave using the Internal Tracks I often want to lay one video image over another. This can be for Picture in Picture or in a place where I want to show a different angle of the video without interrupting the sound track. I mute the audio for the overlay video.

What I have noticed is that the section of the final output video that is the result of an overlay has a more blurry or "out of focus" look than the portions of the video that don't.

Any ideas why and what I can do to fix this.

I build my video in VideoWave and then export the project to a MPG file for Best quality for DVD. I then take the output file into MyDVD to add the menus and then create an ISO file with the HD setting. Finally I burn the ISO file to a DVD.

I use an HP Dual Core laptop with an Nvidia(?) graphics card.

Thanks for any help you can give.
