flashlight
I'm looking at buying Roxio creator 2010 for a specfic project. I want to create a DVD movie that is for a birthday. I want to include a video introduction (shot on video camera) and include the original audio (e.g., My daughter on video saying "Hello Nana, this is your birthday video"). Then I will have an introduction caption and then some still pictures (set to music). Then some more video of family members wishing Happy Birthday, etc. Then more still pictures set to music, and so on. I had read that any uploaded video that was used in CineMagic would override the audio and my original audio would be lost. Is that accurate? If so, what is the right tool to do what I want to do? Thanks! ps, I'm looking at creator 2010 because later on I'd use it to digitize my LP's and casettes; however, the birthday video is the most important as of right now. Jim_Hardin
Who uses CineMagic??? You make up Projects in VideoWave, a full strength Editor. You make your user interface in MyDVD, which is a disc authoring software (burns discs). Your described project would be pretty easy and you could even carry it further by making that Intro the DVD background that repeats until Play is pressed. Look through the How To's in all versions to get an idea of the strengths of the Suite. For your second question, maybe there is a BOOK inside??? Can't really say, you must be looking at a Retail box and there are 3 versions – 2010; 2010 Pro; 2010 SE… The SE includes an Analog/Digital Converter.
