Question

I've just created my first project on latest Creator 10 Suite. MyDVD slideshow etc. 600 photos, transitions, menus, intro, audio - i.e. the whole thing. File size of approx 4.1G within limit by about 600mb. Works perfectly on preview. Burn in successful (after validation) on new Verbatim RW. 30 menus of which 16 play back perfectly on TV and Laptop. 14 however do not start at the 1st photo i.e. after hitting play, it will come in apparently randomly (but always at that "random" picture). Have copied file and removed the OK menus and deleted one or two of the rogue slideshows and then added them again, reloading the photos, music etc but with same results. very strange? have wondered if the ability to reshuffle photos (drag & drop) after importing has affected anything? Have tried with another (new) Verbatim, have run it on 2 TVs and 2 laptops but with identical results. I will now try it without the audo but am wondering if anyone has a fix? Frustrating but the answer must be out there somewhere!!

Try switching the render mode to the opposite what you are now using. Under Tools/Option, if not set to Hardware, set it to software or vice versa.

BTW, file size is not very important, its the timelength of your slideshow that is more of a factor. A standard 4.7GB DVD will hold 60 minutes of video at best quality (HQ). Any more and the video has to be compressed with a resulting loss of quality. With 600 photos you are allowing only 6 secs per photo (on average) and with transitiopns etc that will be even less.
