We have a tech article on this but can someone pin it here as we've seen several issues from customers about this. There are two files that could be the culprit
rxc.db and sarlicense11.dat. They are basically database files that get written to when a user launches apps. If they are corrupted then you'll see the certificate missing error. Its safe to delete these as they are generated on the fly when we launch.

Resolution
Close any Roxio applications currentely running.
Delete the following folders depending on your operating system:
Windows 7 or Vista: C:\ProgramData\Sonic\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sonic\
Relaunch your Roxio software.
