zariaman
Is it possible to change the watched folder for Sync? Is there an .xml file that I can hack? The reason I am asking is that I automatically remove commercials from the DVR file and place it in a new folder. MyTvToGO looks in both folders before automatically converting the DVR file before the commercial removal tool can remove the commercial. If I could delay the readySync option or direct it to another directory that would solve my problem.
kimmtg
You can setup "watched folders" on your MCE PC and MyTV ToGo will find TV shows in all folders you setup to watch. You can do this using Microsoft's free PowerToy utility http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en or if you're comfortable editing the Windows registry directly you can add the "watched folders" registry key directly using regedit.exe Find the key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Service\Recording\ and add a registry key of type REG_MULTI_SZ called WatchedFolders. Enter the path to your MCE recorded shows, one per line, in this key. These shows will appear in your MCE list and MyTV ToGo. [You'll have to close and restart MyTV ToGo for the file list to refresh].

I actually want to change the watched folder that MyTvToGO is looking in for ReadySync. I actually want to restrict MyTvToGO to look in only one folder. I am fine with MCE watched folders. I have version 3.

I have version 3.00 I do not use MyTvToGO to remove commercials. I use DVRMSToolbox, it is free and the guy that developed is it amazing, he answers any questions you have. I could not live without this tool. It takes a little to configure it, but once you do it works well. http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/thread/99008.aspx
