Create DVD Music Disc

Clivo

Question

Hi All

I have Vista 64 on my PC and 250G HDD free

I have made two attempts to a Create DVD Music Disc. I assembled the files (1100 Mp3's) to be burnt onto a DVD+R DL Using DVD music assistant and Batch Convert And Transfer and all seemed well as the DVD mechanism worked on the PC anyway but the DVD failed to burn despite the burning software showing a 100% result. On the first attempt The disc was a coaster and wouldn't play on other DVD's or the PC and I had lost the production files. So I started all over again after several hours I had another assembled project ready to be burned. I checked the files worked on the PC I attempted to save a disc image the prog showed a 100% The second disc failed to burn and this disc shows that some data has been written on the 3rd track and that it was open. The 1st one shows as no disc. When asked to finalise the software does not recognise a disc. My optical firmware is the latest version. I want to have another go. Well I have got 7 discs left but would like to find the disc image. I do not know where this is or what type of file it will be. I dont particularly want to assemble all the files from scratch.

Can somebody help please.

all the best Clive

Hi myguggi

Using Create DVD Music Discs I didn't see that there was a save file icon under the burn icon on stage 3. So my question is, as I felt there might be an automatic save. What is the file extension name for the project file. Or maybe a default location for these files. If I had this info I could possibly find the file. I had searched through the Roxio folders without success. Also As I possibly saved an iso image of the disc I wondered where this might be located by default. I don't really know what an ISO image is anyway but at the stage I was at I was a bit desperate. As I 'm new to this stuff I am at present not getting deep joy from the software you may understand. Looking at your forum joining date I judge you must have a great deal of experience with with the Roxies hence your

Found the project .dmsa file in C:\Users\Name\Documents along with the .iso file. Just burned the DVD from the ISO file and am checking it on my DVR. :
