2010 Won't burn to DVD?

BidDog94

Question

I have down loaded a movie, made minor edits and am now trying to burn to a DVD. I have tried several different DVD's (DVD+R & DVD-R) and every time the program goes through the process of encoding everything, and then it says 100% complete, at which time I get - Error Image failed to burn. This is becoming frustrating. Any answers?

I'm new at this so I will try to answer all of your questions - to the best of my limited knowledge.

I uploaded the movie from VHS using the Roxio VHS to computer converter. The format is whatever the creator uploaded it in. The movie is approximately 55:00 minutes, and I'm using 2010 creator to burn it onto DVD.

Do I need software to run my DVD burner? And how do I find out about my video card?

The captured video is user selectable.

What program from Creator 2010 are you using to burn the captured video to your DVD?

During the Import I used the Roxio Video Capture USB device to import the video, and under the settings I just left it on DV. When I go to MyDVD in creator, in the project settings I select DVD. Am I just screwing up my settings either on import or export?

Imported a New Movie last night from VHS USB converter, selected DVD-SP as the format. Made a quick Test Burn and the 9:00 movie burned to DVD. Went Back and edited the Menus and went to burn today and got this at the end of the Burn Pop-Up -

Failed to start the image writing operation Error while  Burning Image

80004003 Error while  Aborting

What is Going on with this thing?
