Unable To Find A Certifate File

ae4bj

Question

This Roxio co. is nuts. NO support so I'm begging for help. I have three retail versions of Roxio. I installed ver 8.0 EMC suite and I didn't like it so I had to manually uninstall it. I eventually had to un-install 7.5 and all others. Now all I can install is the ols ver 5.0 platinum.

I get an error message that says" Unable to find a certificate file." All my versions are registered, however, I have left 5 messages asking for help and not one (1) single reply.

Does anyone know what's going on with this co., besides being in Canada? :)

I simply want to re-install my retail version of 7.5. I liked it much better. Help

You know, I think I may have something that may fix that problem, when you calm down a bit. It is fine being upset with Roxio, but blasting another country is pretty damned low, and I think that you should consider edting your message.

Edited for stupidity!!!!!

You are right Bruce. Canada is a good country and I admire them. I also am a 'Nam vet ,, but I am still hot about the lack of support from Roxio and don't appologize for that. I use Corel and other products from Canada with NO trouble.

Ver 7.5 of the emc came as a stand alone update with a reduced cost and I like it better than the 8.0. I just can't get any help. Their paid support cost as much as half the cost of the software.

If the reason you can't help me is that I need to cool down, forget ti.

Thanks for the reply though.

LOL, you aren't even hot. You don't need to cool down. What problems are you having? You didn't mention any, in your post. Unless you changed names, now.

If you are having the certificates not found problem, try using the Microsoft Cleanup Utility to get rid of all Roxio and Sonic files on your computer, reboot, then try to reinstall.

milspece6,

since you did not post the problem you are having, nobody on these boards can help you. If you are having installation problems a call to Roxio will most likely not cost you anything.
