I installed RC 2009 over R easy VHS TO DVD and now have a non working VCD. I tried downloading SP4 but get :cannot delete target files C:\Program files(x86)RC2009SE\5.0\filters\sonic HDD emuxer.dll." My question is will RC2010 load over what I have without having to do a complete uninstall of RC2009? I am 70 yr old, and anything beyond simple and I mess thing up I have Microsoft Home edition on a 1 year old HP laptop and would like to edit old home vhs tapes and save them to DVD for my kids. Thank you

1. Boot into Safe mode

2. Go to the folder containing the file in question (C:\Program files(x86)RC2009SE\5.0\filters\sonic HDDemuxer.dll)

3. Rename the file to "sonicHDDemuxer.old"

4. Reboot

5. Try applying the SP4 again.
