Drag to Disk or Roxio Burn?

Maurizio G

Question

Hi,

i have recently purchased Roxio Creator 2010, and i have also Easy Media Creator 9. I was wondering how my disks burned with drag to disk and not still finalized will be threated. In other words, could i use old drag to disk CD or DVD with Roxio Burn, or have i to continue to use these disks with drag to disk to add new files?

To be sincere i haven't understood how Roxio burn works. With drag to disk, ejecting the disk it asks if you want to keep the CD open or ready to be read in other pc (finalizing the disk), but with Roxio Burn i haven't this option, so i have this doubt, i would avoid to damage the disks.

Thank so much.

Discs formatted in D2D and not closed should be perfectly readable by any PC running XP or better.

You cannot write to them but you can read and hence Copy the info off of them.

I turned off my Roxio Burn in 2010. Consider it an annoyance

Brendon has played with it some, and knows more about its' capabilities & limitations. It utilizes Session writing, which is much, much more stable than Packet Writing.
