CPU Usage

i have installed the software all ok and have tested it but the recorded result is very jumpy and sound intermittent, i have also noticed that when i open the import program my cpu usage is at 100% system to slow and the mem usage is at 110.504 for this program.

 

Can any one give me some advice please, let me know what other information is needed to help with a solution.

Yes it does. I suspect you have more than the 960 MB of RAM you listed That is probably the amount 'available'… You left out the Graphics Card, but otherwise, the PC looks good!

 

Might want to try a defrag on the HDD and shutting down everything you don't need during capture.

 

Also get a disc or 2 of DVD RW so you can burn test captures to see if it is just a PC glitch.

By the way this is all i have 960 mb as far as i know this is the max amount this laptop will allow?
