encode error800452oc wont' burn dvd

carolgyrl1

Question

After many problems, will not go into all of the horrid specific details( videos going in upside down from iphone, ect) time, money, purchasing another comverter, ect, solved that one, after a few months, I have tried to make a dvd with both the mpeg file or a 3gpp file, it stops checking off the green check marks and says error encoding the first movie, and won't go any further, these are very short clips of 1 minute each, but there is an encoding error # 800452oc. . i do have the lastest version of intel graphics, and the lastest version of 2010, ( tried to input the service pack, but it said it was the latest. this is the only roxio i have installed into this computer, what can I try?

What specific Intel chipset are you using. Normally those are onboard graphics (using system RAM instead of dedicated graphics RAM)

They are problematic when it comes to video rendering and the only 'cure' (unless you are using a laptop in which case there isn't one) is to use a decicated graphics card.

You could also try using softweare rendering and see if that helps

 I have an Intel r 82915g/gl910, i updated it to othe lastest. I also updated the realtec audio drive too, I now have the green check marks when trying to make a dvd, it almost finished just now, but then said destination drive not enough space, error burning in=mage 80004003. now what? it almost finished. I did not know I have to be a computer whiz just to make a dvd, but so far, I've spent much time on this, that I should be a friggin genius :)

How long in time is your project? A standard 4.7GB DVD holds 60 minutes of video at best quality.

cd

that worked,I put it on the hardware and it actually made a dvd with three of the one minute videos on it !!!!!! you have no idea how manyproblems i have had, videos going in upside down, ect. I only have one more question, if i may, these are short lessons, how do i get the lessons to stop at each one ? like if i want to see lesson number 3? and not have to fast forward it all of the time?

it was on a software button, i changed it to a hardware button, i really do not know how changing it from the software button to the hardware button made it work, but it did.I don't understand that part of it.but im very happy. When i spoke to a roxio help guy, he told me that the file that i was sending it to was full, so just try to burn a dvd, and not send it to any file, or send it to another place. the particular destination file was full, which was the one that roxio normally sends it to. it makes a copy, then makes a dvd, so if the file is full, it won't burn a dvd.

This This will give you some ideas… I trust you have some RW disc to experiment and learn with!

Check the “How To” postings in all versions most things have been covered from years back.

I have been reading waht you wrote on chapters, ect. it is pretty confusing. i basically have a lot of 1 minute lessons, i would like to be avle to go to like number five and see it without having to fast forward the whold dvd, to see each lesson. i would lke to name each one too, this is called chapters?

It depends on what you want to happen after you have "jumped" to lesson 5 and viewed it? Do you want to return to a menu and select another lesson or do you want to continue on to lesson 6, lesson 7, etc?

You are not clear exactly what you want to happen. How many lessons in total are there?
