Thanks Toast should not do that unless you have a blank disc inserted. The way to stop auto launching of Toast when a blank disc is inserted is to change the settings in the CDs and DVDs panel in System Preferences. If that isn't the reason that Toast is launching at startup then go to the Accounts panel in System Preferences. You will see a tab for Log In Items.
