how to extract files from finished DVD builder dvd

I finished a project in DVD builder in Roxio creator 5. Now I have 10. How do I extract a couple of the files ffrom it? Finished it i.e. burn from project to a dvd.

Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 never had DVD builder in the Suite....

 

You have Roxio Creator 2010 or Easy Media Creator 10 and a DVD burned with a earlier version of Roxio with DVD builder?

 

Make a new folder on your hard drive, copy the contents from the DVD to the folder, open Videowave add the project from the folder, then cut out and save the parts you want..

Did not work. There are 2 folders on the DVDBuilder dvd: 1. Roxio plasma 2. Video TS(which has 8 sub-folders such as video .ts.bup, vts ts.ifo, etc.

Video wave's reply is: "cannot edit...cannot add to project"
