Drawing a line on videowave

I am also using videowave and a slow motion camera for taking clips of my sons for baseball. I want to be able to draw a straight line on my clip. I have been messing around with this and I can't seem to figure it out. Please help.

You MAY be able to do it with a custom overlay.

That was interesting. Thanks. Unfortunately, I think you just can not draw a line in video wave on the screen.

I was looking at the custome overlay and was trying to figure out how cut something out and use it as clip art. How do you add something to clip art? I tried saving it as a png file and clicked transparency, but I still had the canvas background. I would also like to add it to the clip art section.

Hi Tom,

 

I think I read in another post that you had resolved the overlay issue. Post back if that's not true. For the straight line you may have the best luck creating the line in PhotoSuite as an overlay and saving it as a Custom overlay to use in VideoWave so that you can reuse it as often as you want. You can use the Position Settings panel in VW to adjust its its positioning, rotation, etc. Hope that helps

That does help. I usually use vertical lines so that would work.
