Creator DE Phoning Home

Question

I've got Roxio Creator DE 10.2 that came with a Dell computer. It works fine for me (my burning needs are simple :-). However, everytime I start the program or start to burn a disk my firewall tells me that Roxio_Central36.exe is trying to contact 63.236.55.39:80. I did an IP lookup on this and found that it's registered to RIPE Network Coordiantion Centre. RIPE NCC is the regional internet registry for Europe.

Anyone know why Creator DE keeps trying to contact Europe?

Thanks for any insight you can give me.

My IP lookup on 63.236.55.39 pins it back to a Qwest Cybercenters server at 101 Rowlands Way, Novato, California. That's Roxio's address.

Most of these software suites phone home when you start them, to get the latest advertising and offers from Roxio.
