Capture now button not clickable

Santulio

Question

I'm trying to capture a VHS (Pal-N) and the "capture"button does not get "clickable" also the status line reads: no signal in red. i'm able to see the video and listen to the music but i can't capture it. i even tryed to capture it on NTSC norm (all in B&W) but still the "capture" does not appear (not clickable). i'm 100% sure this is a software issue.

can you provide me with a solution please?

Thank you very much for your help.

What analog to digital converter are you using - the Roxio USB device for Creator 2010. If so, plug the device into a USB port on the back of your computer, not the front or through a hub. If if are not using that particular device, what are you using>

Have you updated Creator 2010 to SP2?

I have got the same problem.

I connect my VHS player via a s-video cable via a peritel adaptator.

In the Roxio Media Import, I see the video but in black&white and it's written no signal in red. and, as well, the 'Capture now' button not clickable.

I have tryed every kind of PAL, SECAM or NTSC options, still the same problem.

the sound is ok.

My machine :

XP sp2

Core2Duo 2.66Ghz

3Go Ram

ATI RAdeon 4850

Anyone to help?? thanks !

Have you tried using the Composite video instead of the S-video. Make sure to change the captue setting in Roxio from S-Video to Composite.

Is this the Scart you are using http://www.svideo.com/ypbprsv1.html ?
