Changing Thumbnail Images

My DVD Project has chapter thumbnails with images. In the Preview area I have changed the displayed thumbnail image using the "Select Thumbnail" from the menu. However some of the thumbnails will NOT update with the selected image while other thumbnails will. Any ideas about this glitch? Tried deleting the chapters and reloading but with the same results.

Are you using motion or non-motion menus? What menu style? Videos or slide shows?

 

Are you adding formatted video files (mpg2, wmv, etc.)or are you adding projects from Video Wave. Are you adding slide shows from MyDVD ( horrors !)

 

We really need more information. There has got to be a difference in the ones that updat and the ones that do not.

I have downloaded a recorded television program from my DVR into Creater 2010. The program is then edited, removing commercials. Then chapters are created. After completing this the chapters appear in the Preview window as thumbnails. The thumbnail image is the first frame of the chapter. In the Preview window right-clicking the thumbnail and choosing "Select Thumbnail" opens the preview controls. I then locate the exact frame I want to use and select OK. The selected frame should now become the thumbnail image. This is where the selected image sometimes appears and other times does not appear but remains the first frame of the chapter. I am using the "Aerial View" menu style. The thumbnails are non-motion still frames.

Sorry, I can't duplicate the error so I can't offer any suggestions. Perhaps someone else?
