I made DVD archives of video footage using DV to DVD "plug and burn" onto DVD-R.
I'm now trying to make a 2nd copy quickly using Disc Copier - I'm out of DVD-R and try DVD+R - and keep getting message to insert the media - it says it requireds DVD-R, but supports the "others" - the standard message that's been posted here in these forums - you know - the "box"
I'm hunching that maybe Roxio is "picky" in this case and because i did the plug-and-burn to DVD-R for the disc copy it wants the exact same media type?
Is burning to +R really different than -R?
I'm gonna work around by burning to folder on hard-drive and then burning - sure - I have all the time in the world, right?
I've updated firmware on burner to latest
and I've completely removed Nero. When I'm in Roxio home and try to update, it says no updates available - do I still need that Sonic engine thingy posted in the technotes? pnxeng1.exe or whatever?
