Fabs
I have successfully managed to turn a VHS into an AVI file. I then use the option "create dvd" and if I try to play the dvd on my dvd player (goodmans DVD148) the sound does not work. Am I missing something ? Any support or suggestion is very welcomed. Can you click on the AVI file and play it in Windows Media Player with sound? cd

The Roxio Easy VHS to DVD Ver. 1,2 When I play the avi on my computer with Windows media player I can hear the sound. when I burn the file in a DVD, using Roxio crfeate dvd's and then I play the dvd in my player, I can see the image, but not sound. Actually if I turn on the TV sound I can barely hear the sound of the film.

It seems that Roxio is saving in a format which Audio is not read by my dvd player. Is there any way of changing Audio settings when I burn DVD's ?
