No Audio after burning CD

Fabs

Question

I have successfully managed to turn a VHS into an AVI file.

I then use the option "create dvd" and if I try to play the dvd on my dvd player (goodmans DVD148) the sound does not work.

Am I missing something ?

Any support or suggestion is very welcomed.

What operating system and service packs are you running?

What version of Easy VHS to DVD there are two, XP and Vista version, and a XP, Vista, Windows 7 version, look on the box?

Can you click on the AVI file and play it in Windows Media Player with sound?

cd

I am running Windows Vista SP1 (downloading the update from the internet) . The Roxio Easy VHS to DVD Ver. 1,2

When I play the avi on my computer with Windows media player I can hear the sound.

when I burn the file in a DVD, using Roxio crfeate dvd's and then I play the dvd in my player, I can see the image, but not sound.

Actually if I turn on the TV sound I can barely hear the sound of the film.

Your problems seem to be with your (goodmans DVD148) and or how it's connected then.

I suppose any other DVD works with the (goodmans DVD148) and has audio?

cd

Correct. I don't have problems with other DVD's.

It seems that Roxio is saving in a format which Audio is not read by my dvd player. Is there any way of changing Audio settings when I burn DVD's ?
