My product is Roxio Easy Media Creator 9. It was included in my Dell computer package. I am running Vista Home Premium. My problem is with finalizing a DVD disc.
I have two disc drives. One is HL-DT-ST CD-R/W (the E: drive). The other is PBDS DVRW DL (the F: drive).I had a Video 8 tape recorded on a DVD disc at Wal-Mart. It works fine. I made a copy using the Roxio program. Everything went well, but the disc was ejected as soon as copying was completed not giving me time to try the finalize option. When I put the disc back in and went through the finalizing procedure the disc popped out again and I got this message in a drop down. " Please insert an appendable data disc that is CD media or DVD write-once media." The disc that I am trying to finalize is a DVD-R.
Of course, I can play to disc on my computer, but it will not work on my TV set probably because it is not finalized. If anyone can help with this problem I will appreciate it. Thank you.
