AVI files rendered by VideoWave way too large

b bussey

Question

I just installed Creator 2010, and tried to create some AVI files in VideoWave from some existing storybooks. For a four-minute video, I'm getting file sizes of 16GB. I used to render files in EMC9 with no problem. I used to use the DivX codec, but that feature is no longer accessible in C2010. Can someone direct me to a codec that will properly compress to an AVI file, or inform me what the settings should be in a custom profile to insure the files are around 25MB instead of GBs in size? Thanks.

DivX output was dropped in 2010…

What Output do you need to Play? That is a little more informative than some arbitrary file size???
