loading message then thats it

I have loaded the disk as instructed and could not move forward from the first screen .... just a loading message that you cant get rid of.

 

So I contacted my computer support and Roxio spent loadsa a time on the phone = loadsa money even travelled 25 miles to change the disk ....still wouldnt work same problem so was told something in my computer conflicting with the disk....... so did a recovery no programs on other than anti virus ..... still getting the loading message when trying to launch the program from the first screen then thats it !!!!

 

I now have to take the product back as I will run out of my refund time so I have spent twice as much as the disk costs on calls. 3 x trips back to the shop or it will be when I take the disk back and hours and hours of my time trying to get it sorted .....WHAT A WASTE OF TIME THIS PRODUCT IS they should call it VERY VERY DIFFICULT VHS TO DVD in fact it would have been cheaper to get somebody else to do it .... but cant do that as I've wasted my money on this!

Well you have not wasted your money. Lets start with the basic. The way I read is you have difficulty installing the software on the computer. If not, please clarify. If yes, then like many other users who bad drive which resulted in install to fail. If it is the disc (it appears you have already replaced one), then try exploring the contents of the disc and try copying the contents on the hard drive on desktop in a folder and then try running setup.exe from within the folder and see if that helps. And yes the product is not difficult, its just the environment where it is being loaded is always the root cause.

I did not make myself clear sorry I can instal it I can get the icon on the desk top and it recognises when I plug it in the usb and I can get the first page up but wen I try and launch the program to play and burn it attempts to move onto the next screen then I get a black screen and an orange banner stating that it is loading and thats all that happens

 

I have followed their advice and followed my computer suppport advice even done a recovery as I was told it is conflicting with other programs.

 

I have switched off my intergrated web cam fire wall and anti virus software and gone into msconfig and disabled start up as instructed re installed and updated and still not luck .... apparently its more difficult with lap tops than desk tops but it doesnt tell you that on the packaging

 

So before I run out of time for a refund patience and waste any more time or money it has to go back
