VHS to DVD corrupted RMC 2010

After installind Easy VHS to DVD, My Rosio Easy Media Creator 2010 shortcuts now launch the VHS to DVD software and 2010 seems to have disappeared. Is there a conflict between these two products?

First, there is no Easy Media Creator 2010. There is an Easy Media Creator 10, and there is a program named Creator 2010.

 

There was a conflict with Easy VHS to DVD with Creator 2009, but if you have either Creator 2009, or Creator 2010 on your computer, installing Easy VHS to DVD is not needed. Creator 2009 and Creator 2010 have all of the components of VHS built into the suites.

 

In short, go through the clean install instructions, and only install Creator 2010.

There was one poster who reported installing Easy VHS to DVD removed his Creator 2010 Pro.

 

He never came back to the thread. Can you confirm your version of Easy VHS to DVD has the Windows 7 logo on it?

 

It seems the W-7 version of Easy VHS to DVD is based on Creator 2010, just like the old version of Easy VHS to DVD is based on Creator 2009, and that is causing the uninstalls.
