Install trouble on win 7

silverado44

Question

Tried to install vhs to dvd on my win 7 system. Part way through the install it gave me an error stating that the install was interupted and could not continue. It then asked me if I wanted to retry and I said yes. still no install. just cancelled out and it said no changes have been made. Tried to reinstall from scratch and now get 'setup has determined that your configuration does not support any of the included products" This message comes right after I chose english during the install.

During the first install it asked for the key and seemed to be installing fine until it just crashed

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ok, Sorry to bother you again. I have everything running and am trying to capture video from my Sony Hi 8 camera. I am getting sound but no Video signal. My video signal from my camcorder is on the yellow plug and I have that plugged into the yellow plug on the roxio cord. the sound is on a black plug with i have plugged into the red plug on the roxio cord. I have tried different combinations but still no video.

Hope you can help :)

If you unplug the USB Device and plug it back into a USB 2.0 port does windows make a sound?

In media Import under options is composite video chosen?

The last three pic's in this post match your Device's shown in Device Manager?
