No, there are no ads when you use one of the Menus in MyDVD (Create DVD). There are around 96 standard definition and 31 high definition menu styles. Actually there is an infinite number because you can customize the menu style by changing the backgroud image or background video and you can change the background audio.

There are no "themes" to buy like other programs. What you get is what there is.

You must have very good eyes. I don't see the text you are asking about.

I've been using Roxio since Easy Media Creator 7 and now am using Creator 2010 (7 versions). There have been no ads in any of them. Are you sure you were not talking about Photo Show?

Perhaps someone who used Sonic products or Roxio products before me will tell us which version had the ads.

Like Steve, I have never seen any Roxio ads or watermarks on any of the hunderds of DVDs I have produced using Roxio video software.

No, it will not be "full" screen of the image (look at the preview screen in the image below; ignore the gray area). Think about it how do you take something in that is 4 by 3 ratio and put it on a TV with the 16 by 9 ratio. You will either cut off some of the height to stretch the width to the width of the screen or you will keep the height and not fill the width. Have you ever watched a standard definition program (perhaps and old movie) where you have the image centered but black bars on the side. This is standard and "mother nature". you know you can't fool mother nature! :) There is a way to assure that the full image is seen but that may result in a border almost all around the image.

The quality will look just like a TV program that is broadcast in standard definition. Actually if you have an up-converting DVD player it will look better. It will not look as good as high definition. Again, mother nature. There are just not enough pixels to make it look HD.

No, there is no free trial BUT if you buy directly from Roxio on-line store, you have a 30 day $$ back guarantee. 3-7 days would not really tell you much; remember there are about 30 different applications in the Suite.
