What is the basic installation? Do you have the program installed and operating? Are you now having issues with the install of the extras (second disc)?
Download or disc? It usually means that the program is having a problem finding some of the installer files.
If it is a DVD, copy the files to a folder on your hard drive and install from there. There should actually be 3 files to download.
If it is a download, extract the zip files and then install from there rather than let the exe extract and install.
I am new on this forum so I hope I will ask the right question and give you the correct information.
I am trying to install Roxio Creator 2010 PRO on my computer. I downloaded it from Roxio on Feb 17, 2010 and I still don't have it going.
I think I did have Creator 2009 installed on my computer. At this point I'm not sure.
At present I can't install or un-install Creator 20010 PRO from my computer. I'm running Vista Home Premium on my computer.
I've talked via phone and E-mail messages to Roxio and still no luck. When sending an E-mail to Roxio they don't seem to read my message all the way through. They have sent me the "How to Re-download Software" and "Complete Uninstall of Creator 2009 and 2010 (Windows Vista and 7)".
I've done everything these instructions say to do, but still I have problems.
I downloaded the program and saved it to my desktop. I then clicked on the desktop on the program. It didn't do anything.
So I downloaded it again and didn't save to desktop. Instead I said RUN. It ran the unzip program and I got the 3 files from this. On the file 1 the Wizard came up
and only gave me the option to REPAIR or REMOVE..no INSTALL button.. When I tried the remove it says "Setup application has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify me if a solution is available.
If I click on REPAIR. something flashes up so quick I didn't see what it says and then it says finished. Nothing happens...
I was able to install file 2..But on file 3 it said "You must install Roxio Creator before installing the content.
I can't uninstall the program in control panel even though it shows it's there. It says the setup application has stopped working, etc.....
When I click on Start and search for the folder it's not there.
So, at present I can't install or uninstall Creator 2010 PRO. What can I do???
Any help would be greatly appreciated......I am running Vista Home Premium.
