I love "MyDVD LE version 6.1.6"

running on XP SP3

 

adding files usually works but one file (an MP4 file) has issues

"operating system error MMresult = -2015 -15"

what steps can I use to get it to succeed

 

I've restarted the program

I've rebooted the computer

It generally means it is not a supported input video format. if other files like mpg

are ok, this may be the case.

 

You have a "old" Dell OEM version, and like most OEM version's they don't have all the features of the full retail version.

 

You could try searching on the Dell forum to see if anybody else with that version has had the same problem.
