reinstalling Roxio creator DE 10.1

rockgirl

Question

Hello, I saw someone else had the same problem reinstalling their Roxio from disc with the computer saying "roxio creater DE has been interrupted, your system has not been modified. To try at a later time, click finish" The below solutions were offered but I had already contacted Dell who tried to reload it onto my computer from their end (said they had their own version they could try and put on) and it didn't work. They suggested I PAY to talk to software department though I paid to have a 3 year support from them. I found this forum and tried the two steps/articles but still not working. Any other ideas?

"Contact your computer manufacturer; they have a special OEM version that they would be the only ones with a fix. Many manufacturers have forums just like this one for their OEM products. You should look there first. Do you have the latest Service Packs for your operating system?

You can also try these Kb articles."

What Kb articles did you try? How about this one?

Or one of these?

Have you tried installing from a new user - administrator -account ?

.... but if Dell couldn't do it, there is somehting else blocking it. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing.
