Dear Tech Support,

When opening a mpg file with my ATI File Player Ver. 9.08 It crashes. The file

player loads and shows that my mpg file has been loaded but shows a black screen and

does not play file. Player then crashes leaving me with this message box-

"Atimmc.exe has encountered a problem and will shut down".

Please Help, This Application Is Mission Critical!

The Roxio App that I am using has DLL's dated back around 2003 so Roxio may be my

problem child and not ATI as first thought. Your input would be appreciated.

Mykeyd,

This board is not manned by Roxio tech staff. We are all users of the software, same as you except some of us have been here longer.

If your problem is "mission critical" as you say, you should seek commercial expert help immediately. If you are prepared to wait until another user can help solve your problem, then please stay here and answer any questions.

Thanks for your reply. I think I am back to my original crossroad. I am still trying to use older software on both accounts. Probably best to go ahead and update my roxio and ati app's. I am concerned that after updating my app's That the problem my still exist. Is there any problem history on these two not getting along?

Sorry I can't help you further with that DLL. My version 6.2.0.111 uses the same DLL, so I can't send you a newer version. I think that was the final update for version 6.

I could email you a copy of my DLL if you suspect that yours might be broken or corrupted. Would that help?

It's 700 KB in size.
