Preview Not Showing Video

When dragging video clip (mpeg2) to the production editor I get a message that says "Production empty or contains invalid file". The preview does not show the video but does play the sound. Videos play properly when viewed by any other means. I have checked the system requirements and have adequate system. I have updated drivers for video card. I ran the program repair for Creator 2010 as well.

All mpg2 files or just this one? Where did you get it?

 

Download "gspot codec information applicance" and tell us what it says about the codec used and the audio.

 

Try using something like the free 'Any Video Converter" and change the format from mpg2 to mpg2. I think that it will do that. It may correct any problems with the video.
