Yes. I found that reference also. I'm still confounded by it. I don't do anything with You Tube. Have never even visited a You Tube site. Strange things sure do happen with computers.

I do visit YouTube and have uploaded videos to that site. I can't find that folder/file/document on my Vista 64 Ultimate computer.

I did find a reference to it on this page but nothing else about it. Does that ring a bell?

I can't find any QBload's on my VIsta system but did have several on the XP machine. They were all in a Temp folder related to myDVD 9. They all have the dmsd extension

Didn't have a chance to immediately get back to determining what this QBLoadOnly.dmsd file is about. However, after going back and upon more closely reading the post about temporarily changing the dmsd of any myDVD project file to XML to be able to open it with IE or any XML editor, I'm not sure this will provide an answer. However, it's also possible that I don't understand what's being recommended. It isn't that I can't open the dmsd project files on my computer. Rather, I don't know which project file it is referring to, and I cannot open this particular named file. I also have not been able to locate this file by opening myDVD and searching for it. The only place in which it seems to appear is within "Documents that have been recently used" window.

I would like to know is, when I delete the files in the Documents window if it's going to affect the existing projects on my computer? I also plan to ask Roxio tech how and why this file occurred.

Okay. Here's what I've found. Holding the curser over this entry in Documents the following is shown: C:\Docs & Setgs.\Name\App data\Roxio\MyDVD9\Temp. I right clicked and then clicked Open. The following window appeared:

"Missing Shortcut"

"Windows is searching for QBLoadONLY.dmsd. To locate the file yourself, click Browse."

After clicking on Browse it takes me to My Documents. Within the list of files that are shown under My Documents is a MyDVD project that I completed and burned last year. Clicking on this file opens and plays the project in MyDVD. I'm not sure this is the file that QBLoadOnly is referencing. There were no other files that closely resembled having anything to do with a MyDVD project. Nor did it show any of the remaining paths such as "App Data\Roxio\MyDVD\Temp that I could click on.

I am now wondering if the QBLoadOnly file is the result of having to do a Complete uninstall and reinstall of Creator 2009 after my computer crashed. That possibly one of the files of the list of Roxio and Sonic files that have to be deleted during the Complete uninstall process removed the missing shortcut. In any event, none of the projects I've completed and burned seem to have been affected.

QBloadonly are files created by myDVD at some point. They have nothing to do with uninstalling/installing Creator 2009. They have the myDVD project files extension "dmsd". Change the dmsd of any myDVD project file (temporarily) to xml and you can open it with Internet Explorer or any XML editor.
