Creator 10 opens with transparent screen

I have loaded Creator 10 (Windows 7) and the installation goes perfect no errors. When I click on the icon i get a light blue box with nothing in the middle. except a blue box at the bottom that says "capture vidoe from old vhs tapers and preserve it on DVD..."

 

Any ideas, i have already uninstalled and reinstalled.

Creator 2010 OR Easy Media Creator 10? Does it say not responding at the top left? What computer d you have and what video card/chip?
