beatmatch is not there

I have creator 2010 and the option to access "create music project" is not on the screen, so i cannot use the beat match,is it me or is it only available on the creator pro.

No it is available in all versions. but it is not available in an mp3/wma disc. It is available for audio discs. Is this what you see when you open music Disc Creator, select a audio disc and then add the music?

 

 

 

 

If you want to do it to mp3 disc, set it up as audio disc(s), do the beat match and then change the project type to mp3. Go into project settings and put a check mark to "rename files" to maintain playback order.

 

I just tried it and that does maintain the order. I would think that it would be more important for mp3 discs but perhaps there is no technology to get the beats from a mp3 data file.
