How do I burn a dvd movie from a downloaded movie

I have a few dowloaded movies in avi and divx format. When I try to burn a dvd of them it says they cant be edited. I dont even want to edit them. I just want to make a dvd copy of my downloaded movies. Can anyone help me out. Also does the program automatically convert the movie to a format that can be played on any dvd player. The program I have is easy cd and dvd burning.

You have a limited version of the full program and most likely it will not accept avi and Divx formatted videos. Also if those are copies of commercial movies it is illegal to make copies.
