Well I don't believe I will be recommending Roxio to anyone in my computer club since i'm not allowed to transfer it to my new computer even though W7 will allow me to run programs from older OS. Nor will they be wanting to purchase it after I forward this email to them and other forums.

And of course this is the last product i will purchase from Roxio.

Thanks

Frank

A Roxio Agent has responded to your ticket! (# 927357)

Dear Mr. Syster,

Thank you for contacting Roxio Customer Care

After reviewing your notes, I understand that you are inquiring how to get RecordNow Music Lab 10 Premier installed on your New windows 7 computer.

Resolution:

Please be advised that you can only install the software on one computer. If you purchased the boxed version, make sure the windows 7 logo is on the box. Otherwise, it is not windows 7 compatible version. If you would consider, you can buy Creator 2010 and get a huge discount for that software. Please call our Inside Sales Team at 1-877-793-7480 (Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., EST. for more information.

If you have any questions about the suggestions above or the issue is not resolved, please update this webticket with the steps you have tried and any additional information that may help

Sincerely,

Roxio Customer Care

These are public Forums, and are searched by google and other search engines, which in turn are searched by spammers seeking to "harvest" email addresses for spamming purposes. I would suggest you delete your email addresses - assuming it's not already too late.

Questions are answered by users of Roxio products, and Roxio staff rarely look at it. You can recognize Roxio staff by the Roxio logo by their name. So if your objective is to communicate with Roxio staff, you have failed in that objective.

I don't understand what you are complaining about. Nowhere in the Roxio reply does it say that you can't transfer the the software from your old computer to the new one. You can have the software installed on either computer but not both and that is standard industry practice and is what you agreed to follow when you initially installed the software. Obviously if your old software is not compatible with your new Windows 7 then you can't blame Roxio for that. Not every program that people run on XP systems will run on W7. To expect that is just silly
