"ISO image exceeds the available disk space" problem

Fallen

Question

Just bought, downloaded and installed Creator 10. I have an .AVI file that is 780-megabytes. I am trying to burn is as a DVD, a normal DVD that I can place in a DVD player. I add the video and say burn and I get the "ISO image exceeds the available disk space" error message. There is plenty of disk space and I'm burning onto a DVD. What am I missing? previous versions of the software were doing this function just fine.

Is that AVI file a DivX file? If so, it could be much longer than 1-2 hours. You would normally burn that as a data disc and play it on a DivX compatible player. I think that gspot will tell you what kind of AVI file it is.

If your player is not DivX compatible, then the AVI file needs to be converted to one that will play on a normal DVD player. Those files would be mpg2. You can get almost 2 hours of video on a double sided DVD; about one hour on a single sided DVD.
