Where are these VCRs with video output?

out of harms way

Question

Hi - I was thinking of buying the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD system. I have used EMC10 extensively for DVD creation and I now want to convert some old videos. I may only need the hardware, but I think my first problem is going to be finding a VCR with a video output. I have 2 VCR players, neither of which have composite video or S-video outputs. Scart-to-RCA doesn't work (when connected to TV RCA sockets). Nor does Scart-to-S-video. I have asked about several VCR players on sale on the internet (ebay etc.) but none so far have any video outputs available. Where are these VCRs with video outputs? Has anyone else had this problem? Regards.

You have to attach the 'right' SCART to your VCR…

This is one that someone from the UK recommended – AmazonUK

As far as the Device… Normally you could purchase Just the Device and its' drivers and it would work with EMC 10…

But when Roxio introduced the Creator 2010 they changed the remarks in the stand alone device to say it required Creator 2010 to work…

There is only a $10 difference between the Stand Alone and the V2D, so I recommend you go with the Win7 rated V2D.

You can install the Win7 V2D version (based on Creator 2009) and it will co-exist with your EMC 10.
