KPop
CD-R is not burning a short music test on Vista Windows.. Created a short music test on Roxio Disc Creator: 6 shortened songs from itunes with a "record audio" insert for silence. I Played back the test-it worked perfectly. Why did the test menu playback but I can't burn it?? Tried to burn it to a CD- Didn't burn. Tried saving the Test to my desktop-using another CD drive-t still won't burn.?? I had NO trouble burning a DVD with slide show and Music. I thought burning a CD would be much easier? What gives? Kpop
KPop
Kpop, Sonic packages its applications into groups or software "suites" such as Creator 2010; Easy CD and DVD Burning; Easy CD Creator; Easy VHS to DVD; Copy and Concert; Easy DVD Copy; Easy LP to MP3; Record Now Music Lab; MyDVD; DVDIt and so on. . . . In many cases several different suites have the same application, but in some of them it has been castrated made with severely reduced function. Also there are some posters who seem quite lost, so we ask which one you have. Okay, you're using Music Disc Creator to make an audio CD. "Won't burn" doesn't tell me much, so I'll need more information from you, please. Once you've set your project up and clicked on the Burn button [ringed in red] you should get a Burn Setup dialog box like this one. You tick the box for your burner, insert a CD, set speed in the Burn Options if needed, and then click OK to burn. What happens next, please? This is Kpop, I did finally burn a CDR but it reverted back and recorded the original full length song. I wanted to record the formatted edited 'shortened' selections for a production on Roxio Disc creator'. I saved my Roxio program of 'selected music ' to my desktop. When I clicked on my desktop Roxio icon=-a screen appeared and asked me to insert a CR-R. It burned the entire songs not the shortened edited songs to the CD-R. I did burn the 'shrtened songs I formatted to a rewriteable CDR-W. I can't seem to get the shortened songs to be saved. When the menu of the songs appears the times revertto the long version of each song. So now my question is: How do I save the edited songs- So I can save them to a CD-R? Brendon
KPOP, Music Disc Creator makes discs out of files. It doesn't edit them. What are you editing your music files with, please? You need to get your editor to save the shortened songs to a new [shortened] file or files, which you then burn to disc with Music Disc Creator. Brendon
What software are you using [suite name and version number please] and which application in the suite are you using? [What is 'Roxio Disc Creator 6' ??] What type of output disc are you making or trying to make? Pure CD-Audio, or a data disc with a music file on it? If you give us the details I'm sure we can help you.
