Ye that works...

so how come it doesnt come up on the DVD?

Ok so you see the menu. Try this. When you go to burn, select to burn to an image (ISO) file. Name it and select the location you want to put it. After it finishes encoding, copy the ISO file using the application on the main page "Burn ISO image".

Do not use Memorex or store brand DVDs. Use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden (JVC) discs. What type of disc are you using now.

I'm out of ideas!

When i burn the DVD, it does straight to the flim...?

Ive used MyDVD to make and burn my two films on it, and did a nice animated menu, which now i cannot see :(

any ideas?

It sounds like you may have accidentally selected to have a DVD with no menu. There are three places that can happen: The third is to select previous project type if you have made on with no menu.

Also, do you have your DVD player set up to go to the first movie? If you put the disc in your computer and try to play it, do you see the menu? Use CinePlayer or use VLC free player if you have nothing else that will play that disc.

hmm when i click preview, the menu is there, its only when i put in like my dvd player or play the DVD on my computer. Thats when it doesnt show up

If i did pick DVD with no menu, do i have to re-create the whole thing again ?

And if i did pick DVD with no menu, surely i wouldn't have the option of creating a menu?

Just to double check, you do have Creator 2010, correct? The preview button is down to the right of the window. How long (time) are the movies that you are adding?

You are correct that you would not have the option to build a menu so my initial answer was incorrect. If you did pick no menu, then you would have to start from scratch.

Did you add the movie as an introductory movie? What menu style are you using?

The DvD menu is "cubes"

and preview is at the top

so that cancels the no menus then

Is there anything im missing out?

2 Films :

1st : 9 mins long

2nd: 2 mins long

and no, none of them are "intro" movies

this is using MyDVD
