Burning DVD's

I have the Easy CD Creator 5 Basic (came withy the computer, 4 + years ago) I can burn music to disc w/out a problem, but when I attempt to burn a movie to DVD it takes an exceptionally long time, and the program gets "stuck" at either transcoding video, or transcoding audio. The program freezes up at either of those 2 points.

 

Any suggestions, or is the Basic not properly suited to burn movies?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Marty.

[1] Easy CD Creator 5 can't make Video-DVDs, unless you have a special OEM [Original Equipment Manufacturer] version which has that capability specially built-in.

He is still trying to find out how to burn his Limewire downloaded movies to a DVD. He doesn't care where he posts
