I'm a long time Roxio User. I'm about to buy Creator 2010 Pro for a Windows 7 machine. I'll be using 64bit once I get drivers for devices that actually work. For now, I'm using 32bit version.
I need to run Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 for various projects, for other users of the machine.
Recent Roxio versions I have used EMC9, Creator 2008, Creator 2009, all on XP SP3. I want to get Creator 2010 Pro for this Win7 machine. Reading reviews at e.g. Amazon, it's claimed that Creator 2010 will not co-exist with other software. I need both to work on the same Win 7 system.
I've received good information here in the past, so wanted to check here first.
The Win 7 system is a fresh install, reformatting the disk. Very little is on the machine at present besides Win7, Corel VideoStudio Pro X3, vlc, firefox, thunderbird and WinTV and Orb. In other words, NO prior Roxio products.
The machine is a Dell Precision P690 with 4 Xeon 3.0Ghz cores, 12GB RAM (and that will grow real soon.)
