Install Failure on XP

WANNA REFUND

Question

After 20 phone calls to people, I can hardly understand....And wasting $116.00 on a program that won't install. :angry2:

I seek help from someone who can help me install the Creator 2010.

Everytime I start the install, it stops and a popup box appears saying "This software has not passed the windows logo test. Installation aborted contact you system adminstrator."

Then the install stops and dissapears......HELP anybody!!! :(

You paid $116  Where did you buy it?

It would help if you were to list your system specs, OS.

Hi P.S. -

That error is generally a Microsoft error related to XP and IE as mentioned in this Microsoft KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/828031 and Creator maybe trying to upgrade other components of your OS, thus launching the error. My guess is that you may need to perform a complete Windows Update before trying to install Creator again.

Also, we are reviewing the two tickets/calls you submitted. It seems you may have contacted the Sales line instead by accident. You can get free technical support for Creator 2010 here: http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/c2010/contact.html.

Thanks,

Jon

I am running Windows XP service pack 3, pentium 4, 1 gig Ram, hard drive around 60 gig, Internet Explorer 8, All windows updates done (up to date 4/2010)

I am very very disapointed in ROXIO, No live person to talk to for help besides sales people, who just put me on hold and tell me I need to call DELL or microsoft

If I had any indication this company treated its customers this way. I would have definately bought a DVR burner program from someone else.

Like I said $116.00 wasted....

Is that 60GB the total space on the hard drive or is that the amount of free space?
