ladyDora
I am part of the CD ministry at my church and it seems that the CD from last nights service wasn't finalized at church. It shows that there isn't anything on the CD, but when I look at the recorded side, I can see that it did record. Is this normal for it to show that the CD is blank? And can I finalize it with Roxio Creator DE ver. 9.0.116?

ladyDora
Roxio Creator DELL EDITION ver. 9.0.116? Is a OEM Version that came with your PC. Most here use the full Retail version a different animal from your Dell Edition.. Have you tried Dell and their forums? Without having your version I don't know how to help.. cd Yes, this came with my Dell. It has pretty much the same options as the full retail version. I have the option to finalize, I just don't want to mess up the disc and lose the sermon. Is it normal for an unfinalized disc to read as a blank disc when inserted into another computer? This version does give me the option of finalizing the disc, I just don't want to do it and ruin the disc. I really think this a generic question and any software that has the option of finalizing can do it. But I really don't want to mess this up. As I said before I don't have it and won't advise. The program you used to burn it, why not burn it again and look for a finalize option? cd

The program you used to burn it, why not burn it again and look for a finalize option? cd This was done on a CD-Recorder at church. I cannot burn it again because the sermon was done last night and this is the only recording of it. The guys in the sound booth forgot to finalize the disc when they were finished. I brought it home to copy it to another CD and it shows on the computer that the disc is blank. When I look at the recorded side of the disc I can see the area that was recorded. 1. Is it normal for an unfinalized disc to read as blank? 2. Would it ruin the disc if I finalize it now on my computer with ANY software?
