I am new here and just downloaded the latest version of Toast. One important capability of Toast that I'm interested in is being able to take an existing song/wav. file and define where a new track # will start within the continuous audio. I have a 4:50 song that I recorded in the studio and a jam happens around 2:50, which becomes a separate song. I need my CD's track # to change on this continuous audio and reflect this new song without any extra sounds. I repeatedly asked the inside sales representative on the phone of this capability and he assured me that this can be done. When I take my track in CD Spin Doctor I get a blip when the two tracks play together. I'm not really looking to edit audio, just define a reference point for a new track #. I appreciate any help you can offer! Thanks!
