Clip duration in Roxio EMC 10

psueric

Question

I am a current user of Roxio Creator 10. (not 2010) Specifically Videowave.

I am trying create an introduction, where clips have a very short duration 3-4 frames.

In videowave 10, the minimum clip duration seems to be .33 seconds, which converts to almost 10 frames, which is too slow for the beat of the music that I'm using. Can you tell me if this limit is reduced in Roxio 2010, or maybe if I am doing something incorrectly in my current version of videowave.

Thanks for your help

No clip duration is .33 seconds minimum and it hasn't changed. Have you tried outputting the clip to an mpg2 file but speeded up? You can repeat that as many times as you want. Add the music to the last time you speeded it up and then output it at normal rate.

This pdf file is from the learning center in Creator 2010 but I think the technique will work with Roxio EASY MEDIA CREATOR 10. (EMC10)

excellent suggestion, and since I'm dealing with a song beat, once I figure out the beats/minute, I should be able to do some simple calculations ahead of time, and have a pretty good idea of what speed multiplier to use.

Thanks very much for the suggestion.
