Mr Anderson
I'm stuck with a known problem. All my files backed up across a 3 disc set with Easy CD & DVD Creator 6.0 restore, but are all corrupt. This appears to be fixed with version 6.0.4 but I can't find the upgrade anywhere. Anyone know of a location on the internet I can download the upgrade? Roxio Retrieve is the actual program that has a bug in it. THANKS!!! This problem is killing me. The only UPDATE I know of is here http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/ecddvdc/s...esv6_basic.html but none of them are for restore problems. Where did you get your information about being "known problem" and "this appears to be fixed with version 6.0.4".

Mr. Anderson, I am 66, just to clear the air. I have a copy of Easy CD Creator, but my computer tech shop has borrowed it to see if she can work out a solution to loading v. 6. I'll get it back, soon, so I may be able to determine if this is the version you need. I also have a copy of all the Easy CD & DVD Creator updates the original Roxio made for downloading. e-mail me at reedrainey@comcast.net for details. You have to load XP SP1 or SP2 in a partition separate from your OS on a main partition and then make NO upgrades before loading v. 6. After that, you load all 8 updates and stop. Don't update anything in that partition. You can load your printer, then, but whether the burners will talk back to the program is a question. Obviously, this takes a wipe and total reload, so my computer shop is working on this as we speak. I can let you know what I find out at: reedrainey@comcast.net. Talk to me, there, okay? Do you know which sub-program contains the Roxio Retrieve? There's no specific update for that, so I assume it's bundled in the main program somewhere.
