MOV Quicktime fike format

mity287

Question

I am using Roxio Creator 2010 Pro. I am making a home video with videowave program. I am using video files form my video camera (MOD file format) and my picture camera (MOV flie format/quick time).

My Problem:

When I add the MOV quicktime video clips, there is no sound on it when loaded into the videowave. How do I fix this.

Thanks Chris

It is a well know issue that some camcorders do not record in a format that Video Wave sees. Since you have the Pro version, drag the video to Bias Sound Soap and then output the AUDIO as a wave file. Note where you name and save it. Add the video to Video Wave and then add that saved audio wave file on any of the audio tracks (sound, narration, sfx). Do that before doing any editing and the audio should line up perfectly.

Thanks for your advise,

But I am not familiar with the Bias sound soap program? I tried to use the soudn editor but it does not allow you to open the video. Where is that program in the ROXIO menou (Music/Audio)?

Thanks again.

Bias Sound Soap is in its own folder. Look for it in Windows Programs. You'll have to go through their tortuous activation process but the program is worth the effort -- and will solve your problem.

With Creator 2010 Pro, you would have to had 2 discs the program is one the second disc. It is not clear what is one the second disc but the programs are very good. If you download Creator 2010 Pro, I think there are three files that you needed to download.
